Piano, Classical Guitar, Electric and Acoustic Guitar, Electric Bass, Oud, Composition and Theory.
Levels :
Children starting at 5 years old and adults.
Pedagogy, Methods and materials are provided for all levels.
Location:
At teacher’s studio, at students residence or via Skype.
Time:
Automn session : 12 weekly lessons from September to December
Winter sessions: 18 weekly lessons from January to May
Summer session : 8 lessons from June to August
Master Classes and Group Lessons :
Group lessons and workshops are offered for advanced students. Please contact to join the next workshop or master class.
Oudistique was a teaching idea that involved mixing advanced students with professional musicians in order to experience a show setting. Oudistique performed workshops at the Faculty of Music at the Université de Montreal, and their first show was at the prestigious 5eme salle, Place Des Arts.
Masmoudi has been teaching private lessons for over 17 years. From 1998 to 2002, he taught at The Greater Moncton Academy of Music. Capitation by Radio Canada, ''Le Territoire de L'autre''.
Workshops:
Occasionally, Mohamed Masmoudi offers lectures on Arabic music at Concordia University, Université de Moncton and Université de Montréal.
As a band member with So What Jazz Quartet, Elfuego and Sokoun Trio, he developed and performed shows/workshops for primary and secondary schools.
